Historian at University of Paris-Diderot since 1991 and psychoanalyst. My teaching is part of the Ecole Normale Supérieure - Rue d'Ulm's curriculum too. Biographer of Lacan and Freud, I mainly worked on the situation of psychoanalysis but also on the history of French Revolution, perverts and perversion, philosophy and judaism. I have been awarded The Prix Décembre and The Prix des Prix in 2014 for my biography of Freud, translated at Harvard Uni. Press. My work is translated into 30 languages.
